Job summary

S&B Utilities is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support the FTP and PWP projects at Sizewell C Nuclear Power Station. You will help with planning, coordination, procurement, construction and handover across project phases, while driving safety, programme, cost and quality goals.

The ideal candidate will have a degree or equivalent, APM PFQ or PMQ ongoing, and at least 2 years' experience in construction/engineering, with strong MS Office skills and a full UK driving licence.

Qualifications

• Degree, HNC or HND in Engineering, Construction, Project Management or related discipline.
• APM PFQ or working towards APM PMQ.
• Minimum 2 years' experience supporting projects within construction, engineering, infrastructure, utilities or manufacturing sectors.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Teams.
• Strong organisational, reporting and stakeholder management skills.
• Full UK Driving Licence.

Responsibilities

• Support the Project Manager with day-to-day coordination of project activities and delivery.
• Assist with project planning, programme monitoring and milestone tracking.
• Maintain project documentation, reports, dashboards and governance records.
• Support budget monitoring, cost reporting and change management activities.
• Assist with risk and opportunity management, including project registers and mitigation actions.
• Coordinate communication between contractors, suppliers, consultants and internal stakeholders.
• Support construction, testing, commissioning and handover activities.
• Promote compliance with health, safety, environmental and quality requirements in a highly regulated environment.
