Assistant Project Manager - Electrical - Critical Facilities

Our client is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support the Project Manager on complex construction and engineering projects, primarily within data centres and critical facilities. You will ensure projects are delivered safely, on time and to the highest quality standards while building strong relationships with clients and supply chain partners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support delivery of electrical projects from pre-start to completion.
  • Manage site teams, subcontractors and supply chain.
  • Ensure compliance with H&S, CDM, environmental and QA standards.
  • Deliver toolbox talks, raise permits and chair subcontractor meetings.
  • Maintain programmes, RAMS, site records and H&S documentation.
  • Order materials, issue POs and manage costs/value opportunities.
  • Ensure defect-free delivery and high site standards.
  • Complete testing documentation and project reporting.
About You
  • In-depth knowledge of data centres / critical facilities.
  • Customer-facing contractor experience.
  • Excellent communication, planning and organisational skills.
  • Proficient with planning software, SharePoint and MS Office.
  • Have relevant electrical qualifications.
  • Flexibility to cover weekend working as required.
  • Must be happy to travel to surrounding counties.
