Job summary

A leading energy sector firm is looking for an Assistant Project Manager in Glasgow. You will manage assigned packages of work using NEC4 Contracts, ensuring project delivery within a challenging environment. Candidates should have experience in multi-million-pound infrastructure projects and a solid understanding of NEC4 Contracts. This role is based on-site three days a week and requires SC clearance.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrable project management experience within multi-million-pound infrastructure construction.
  • Solid understanding of NEC4 Contracts required.
  • Full lifecycle experience from business case approval to handover.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver assigned packages of work using the NEC4 form of contract.
  • Manage packages varying in complexity including civils, structural, M&E or marine engineering.

Overview

Title: Assistant Project Manager

We are a trusted delivery partner to clients in the nuclear energy sector. Enthusiastic teams work together across disciplines — including organizational transformation and integration, systems engineering, and program management — to deliver full life cycle solutions from concept through to operations and decommissioning.

This Assistant Project Manager is a key role and will be responsible for delivering assigned packages of work using the NEC4 form of contract as directed by the Senior Project Manager. The packages of work vary in complexity and may include civils, structural, M&E or marine engineering.

This is an exciting time to join this Programme Delivery Team, the environment is both challenging and rewarding.

What We Need
  • Demonstrable project management experience within multi-million-pound infrastructure construction, refurbishment and replacement programmes of work, within a complex regulated environment (preferably Nuclear).
  • You will have a solid understanding of NEC4 Contracts and will have Full lifecycle experience from business case approval, design, execution and handover.
  • We would also like to see experience of change control and risk management.
Location

3 days per week at the Client site in Helensburgh.

Your own transport is essential.
