Within our Capital Design and Delivery department, we are looking for Assistant Project Managers to join the Water Treatment Delivery Team at our Shelton (Shrewsbury) office.
Are you a Junior/ Assistant Project Manager, or a Project Engineer with a strong, technical background, looking for a new and exciting challenge to step into?
As our Assistant Project Manager you’ll be accountable for delivering on key project KPIs across a portfolio of large capital engineering and construction on water treatment projects.
You’ll undertake financial management of projects and manage risks, as well as liaise with project stakeholders at all levels. Initially you’ll focus on less complex and low risk projects, and you’ll be supported in every way of your journey to grow and to do more.
You’ll ideally be qualified in a technical engineering or construction related discipline and contractual management will be a key part of your role. If you have some exposure to NEC project management framework that would be an asset.
Ideally with experience in the utilities and/or infrastructure sectors. You will have a strong ability to build successful working relationships with internal and external stakeholders from a diverse range of backgrounds, with the ability to innovate and anticipate unexpected issues and challenges as they arise.
You’ll hold a Full UK driving licence due to the remote location of some of our operational sites.
