The Assistant Project Manager's role

The Assistant Project Manager will support the delivery of multiple projects, managing schedules, assisting with cost control, preparing reports and liaising with stakeholders throughout the full project lifecycle. This includes attending site meetings, supporting design coordination, and ensuring work is completed to the highest standards.

Working under senior leadership, the Assistant Project Manager will be exposed to all project stages and expected to take initiative in managing day-to-day activities and driving project progress.

Required Qualifications
  • A degree in Construction Management, Project Management, Quantity Surveying or a related subject
  • 1-3 years' experience working as an Assistant Project Manager or similar
  • Experience within education, healthcare or commercial projects is desirable
  • Confident communicator with good organisational skillsEnthusiastic and career driven, ideally working towards chartership (RICS, APM or CIOB)
