Job summary

The University of Nottingham is recruiting an Assistant Professor in Contract and/or Tort Law to join the School of Law. The role focuses on teaching undergraduate and postgraduate students and developing original research of national and international standing.

You will contribute to core modules such as Law of Contract, Foundations of Tort Law, and Advanced Tort, and may shape other modules across our programmes.

The University of Nottingham, School of Law is looking to recruit an Assistant Professor in Contract and/or Tort Law to join our intellectually engaging and collegial academic environment. In addition to research, you will contribute to the School of Law’s excellent teaching of undergraduate and postgraduate students. We are looking for someone who can contribute to and shape undergraduate and postgraduate modules in your area(s) of expertise, particularly in one or more of the following modules:

• Law of Contract (undergraduate core module)
• Foundations of Tort Law (undergraduate core module)
• Advanced Tort (undergraduate optional module)

You will also have the opportunity to contribute to other undergraduate and postgraduate modules across our programmes.
