Boots, home to No7 Beauty Company in Nottingham, seeks an Assistant Product & Ideation Manager to shape the innovation vision and translate trends into compelling product concepts. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop world-class products that enhance brand loyalty and drive growth.

In this role, you will turn consumer insights into desirable product truths, manage partnerships with development suppliers in fragrance, packaging and design, and help build an innovation

What you'll be doing

As the Assistant Product & Ideation Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the innovation vision for No7 Beauty Company. Your insights will help translate emerging trends into actionable product concepts that resonate with consumers. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will contribute to the development of world‑class products that foster brand loyalty and drive growth.

Key responsibilities

• Contribute to the brand innovation vision by spotting emerging trends and translating them into actionable propositions.
• Support the creation of ideation opportunities that populate a winning innovation roadmap.
• Build best‑in‑class product benchmarking analysis across all product and brand touchpoints.
• Stay inspired through cultural signals and the latest in product and commercial ideas.
• Translate emotional consumer insights into functional product truths that are desirable and feasible.
• Partner with the Portfolio Delivery team to manage cross‑functional meetings and ensure project timelines are met.
• Support the selection and management of key development partners in fragrance, formulation, packaging, and design.

What you'll need to have (our must‑haves)

• Strong strategic foresight and consumer insight application that generates breakthrough ideas.
• Ability to translate macro trends into micro product details, including packaging and formulation.
• Experience in creating inspiring briefs and emotionally compelling narratives.
• Proven track record of leading suppliers and partners to deliver innovative product ideas.

It would be great if you also have

• A passion for beauty and skincare.
• Previous experience in the beauty category.
• Familiarity with consumer testing and product development processes.
