Job summary

Sky is seeking an Assistant Producer – Social Media to contribute to market-leading social-first sports video and ensure timely delivery for publication across Sky Sports Social Media platforms.

The role requires collaboration with the Social Media Publishing Hub, Sky Sports Digital, Sky Sports News and Sky Sports Content teams, reporting to the Bespoke Content Producer, and helping Sky Sports remain the brand of choice for U35s and female audiences while creating revenue opportunities.

Qualifications

• In-depth knowledge of YouTube and social platforms for sports content.
• Experience using Premiere Pro and Adobe suite for video production.
• Experience producing sports content for digital or social channels.

Responsibilities

• Produce & edit high-quality sports video content for social platforms.
• Lead planning and production of multi-camera shoots with elite talent.
• Contribute ideas to reach diverse audiences and social strands.
• Assist in planning and production of new social-first strands, including scripts.
• Maintain knowledge of current sporting issues and rivals.
• Support promotion of Sky’s ‘Force for Good’ initiatives.

Job description

The role of the Assistant Producer – Social Media is to contribute to the production of market-leading social-first sports video and ensure its timely delivery for publication across Sky Sports Social Media platforms.

The role also requires collaboration and communication with the Social Media Publishing Hub, Sky Sports Digital as well as more widely with Sky Sports News and Sky Sports Content teams.

Reporting to the Bespoke Content Producer, this is a key role that will ensure Sky Sports is the sports media brand of choice for U35s and Female audiences, while creating revenue opportunities and supporting Sky Sports’ overarching business objectives

What you’ll do

• Produce & edit high-quality sports video content for social platforms.
• Lead planning and production of multi-camera, high profile shoots with elite talent
• Contribute new ideas and propositions to ensure Sky Sports can reach diverse & varied audiences.
• Support in planning and production of existing and new social-first strands, including writing scripts.
• Maintain a good knowledge of current sporting issues, stories, and rival publishers.
• Support Sky and Sky Sports in the promotion of “Force for Good” initiatives

Essential Criteria:

• In-depth knowledge of YouTube &allsocial platforms
• Experienceusing Premiere Pro & Adobe suite
• Experience producing sports related content for digital or social platforms
• Ability to work effectively under pressure, reactquicklyand meet tight deadlines in all live environments.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, combined with the ability to provide quick resolution to problems
• Understanding of budgets, business priorities, and relationships with stakeholders

How you’ll work

We’ve adopted a hybrid working approach to give more flexibility on where and how we work. The hybrid working expectations for this role are 3 days in the office per week.
