Job description

NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde is one of the largest healthcare systems in the UK employing around 40,000 staff in a wide range of clinical and non-clinical professions and job roles. We deliver acute hospital, primary, community and mental health care services to a population of over 1.15 million and a wider population of 2.2 million when our regional and national services are included.

This is a permanent, part time position of 20.9 hours. (Please note the salary is Pro Rata) for part time hours.

The shift pattern for this position is 5/7.

An exciting opportunity is available to join our Unscheduled care team in the RAH as a band 4 Assistant practitioner. The unscheduled team cover unscheduled care wards along with all boarders across the RAH site.

The applicant will be expected to provide direct clinical care for Occupational Therapy and Physiotherapy including assessment, treatment planning and discharge planning, with the caseload identified following a set criteria. The applicant will be expected to be clinically responsible for managing their own caseload, with both formal and informal support and supervision from qualified staff.

You must be patient centred, have developed rehabilitation knowledge and skills, have a flexible approach to your working day, dynamic problem solver and a team player with good communication skills and be keen to participate in furthering the development of the service.
