We are looking for an Assistant Planner to join our Building team based in London. This role will assist with developing, maintaining and updating the integrated project programme to produce an accurate programme that manages time risk, activity count and float.

What you’ll do:
  • Assist with developing, maintaining and updating the project programme
  • Produce an accurate programme that manages time risk and that the project team and customer can trust
  • Work with the project team and suppliers to produce, challenge and maintain collaborative short‑term programmes that align with the main programme
  • Ensure that the lookahead / supplier programmes are accurate
  • Monitor supplier KPIs
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement on the project
What you’ll bring to the role:
  • Construction experience and technical understanding of engineering principles, construction techniques and best practices.
  • Experience of developing short‑term programmes for a section of works.
  • Understanding of the time impact of typical construction risks and opportunities.
  • Understanding of the construction market, methods of construction, plant, equipment and labour requirements
