A healthcare organization in London is seeking a proactive administrative team member to support the Cardiology Diagnostics Booking Team. You will manage patient appointments and inquiries, collaborating with clinicians to ensure smooth care pathways. This role demands excellent communication and organizational skills in a busy healthcare environment.
This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive individual to develop their administration skills and work within a busy Team. You will work as part of the Cardiology Diagnostics Booking Team arranging appointments for patients and helping with phone queries relating to the patient's pathway of care, working alongside Cardiac Physiologists, Consultants and administrative colleagues.
The post holder will be responsible for answering patient queries via telephone, and email, booking clinical appointments, ensuring capacity is appropriately used, problem solving and liaison with Clinicians. Interview Date TBC. The post holder will be the point of contact for all administrative issues relating to patients' Cardiology diagnostic tests. The post holder will work as part of a multi-disciplinary Point of Delivery team (POD), and will provide support in the proactive management of the patient pathway for Cardiology diagnostic testing, ensuring the entire pathway is managed smoothly.
The post holder will ensure high levels of patient and clinician satisfaction by being an accessible, customer focused and knowledgeable point of contact. To provide a consistent approach across the Trust, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) will describe how the functions of the role will be carried out, along with the timescales to which are to be adhered.
