Busy Bees Nurseries is opening an exciting new 110-place nursery in Monkton Heathfield, Taunton, seeking an Assistant Nursery Manager. You will collaborate with the Centre Director to oversee daily operations, develop a high-quality curriculum, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Level 3 qualification or above in early years education.
• Supervisory experience advantageous (e.g., nursery room leader/manager).
• Strong leadership and communication to support a team and families.

Responsibilities

• Support the Centre Director in daily operations and educational standards.
• Develop and deliver an engaging curriculum tailored to children’s needs.
• Ensure regulatory compliance, health and safety standards.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to staff to maintain a cohesive team.
• Enhance customer satisfaction by delivering exceptional service to families.
• Assist with administrative tasks including scheduling, payroll and recruitment.
• Support financial planning and operational records to ensure sustainability.
