Busy Bees Stokenchurch is seeking a Deputy Nursery Manager to support the Centre Director and lead a committed team in delivering high-quality early years education for up to 58 children.

You will develop engaging curriculum, ensure regulatory compliance and safety, mentor staff, and build strong relationships with families while contributing to the centre's smooth day-to-day operations and growth.

Competenze

• Level 3 qualification in early years education (EYFS) is required.
• Experience in leadership or supervisory roles in an early years setting.
• Proven track record of maintaining educational excellence and curriculum development.
• Strong communication and organisational skills with teamwork focus.
• Experience ensuring regulatory standards and health & safety compliance.

Welcome to Busy Bees Stokenchurch! Our friendly nursery cares for up to 58 children in a warm, welcoming environment with fantastic facilities, including spacious outdoor areas.

Located close to the M40 with excellent transport links, free on-site parking for staff and great local amenities nearby, we’re easy to get to and a great place to build your career. You’ll be joining a supportive and close-knit team, led by an experienced Nursery Manager who has been part of the centre for 15 years. We’re proud of our strong team spirit and the positive environment we create for both our children and our people.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the Centre Director in overseeing the daily operations and maintaining educational standards.
• Assist in developing and delivering an engaging, high-quality curriculum tailored to the needs of children.
• Ensure the centre complies with all relevant regulatory requirements and maintain high safety and health standards.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to staff, ensuring a cohesive and motivated team.
• Lead efforts to enhance customer satisfaction by delivering exceptional service and promoting a positive centre experience for families.
• Assist with administrative tasks, including scheduling, payroll, and recruitment.
• Manage operational records and support financial planning to ensure sustainability.

Ideal Candidate:

• An approved Level 3 qualification or above in early years education.
• Experience within an early years setting, with leadership or supervisory experience ideally as either a Assistant Nursery Manager or Deputy Nursery Manager.
• Proven track record of ensuring educational excellence and curriculum development.
• Strong communication and organisational skills, with a focus on teamwork.
• Experience in maintaining compliance with regulatory standards and health and safety protocols.
