The Role - Assistant Night Manager
Leading overnight operations with confidence and Nobu's crafted hospitality

As Assistant Night Manager at Nobu Hotel London Portman Square, you will oversee the smooth running of the hotel during evening and overnight hours, ensuring exceptional service and operational excellence. Acting as a key point of contact for guests and colleagues, you will provide leadership, resolve issues promptly and uphold Nobu's luxury standards throughout the night.

You will
  • Support the seamless operation of the hotel during evening and overnight periods
  • Act as the primary contact for guest enquiries, complaints and special requests
  • Maintain a strong presence across all departments, ensuring safety and service standards are met
  • Lead and mentor the night team, providing guidance and training to foster progression and retention
  • Monitor guest reviews and feedback, identifying successes and areas for improvement
  • Ensure accurate completion of night audits, daily reports and financial procedures
  • Oversee the safe storage of floats and keys in line with company policy
  • Maintain public areas to Nobu standards, including lighting and cleanliness
  • Ensure compliance with Health & Safety policies and statutory regulations
  • Collaborate with Front Office and Rooms Division teams to optimise guest experience
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and service delivery
  • Oversee creation and development of Front of House SOPs and standards
  • Attend hotel‑wide meetings and report effectively to senior management
  • Act as an ambassador for Nobu values of Family, Crafted, Smile and Kokoro
  • Perform any other duties required to support overnight operations
