You will support the Senior Merchandiser across stores, online and key partners, helping shape range, stock, and trading decisions with data-driven insight. A great step up for an experienced Merchandising Administrator or Assistant Merchandiser aiming to deepen trading impact.

Qualifications

• Experience in a retail merchandising environment, at Assistant Merchandiser or Merchandising Administrator level.
• Strong Excel skills with data analysis and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Update WSSIs, review sales and stock to identify commercial opportunities.
• Support in-season analysis, reforecasting and action to maximise sales and minimise risk.
• Assist with budget, option count and depth of buy planning.
• Work with Buying on range construction and product decisions.
• Manage line detail and monitor availability.
• Produce analysis around product performance, line life and store performance.
• Pull historical data to support strategy and planning.
• Prepare weekly trade packs with commentary for the team.
• Review line prints and flag top/bottom performers for action.
• Collaborate with branch merchandising to optimise A&R parameters.
• Build understanding of product performance across channels and drive improvements.
• Support the Merchandising Admin Assistant to develop in the role.

Assistant Merchandiser - Toys

North West Greater London / Buckinghamshire | Hybrid | £33-37k DOE

(On the London Underground Metropolitan line)

If you love retail, numbers, product and the thrill of a really good trade, this could be the role for you.

We’re looking for an Assistant Merchandiser to join a busy and commercially driven merchandising team, supporting the Senior Merchandiser across stores, online and some seriously exciting retail partners.

This is a brilliant opportunity for an experienced Merchandising Administrator or Assistant Merchandiser who is ready to take that next step, get closer to the numbers and really make an impact on how a business trades.

So, what will you be doing?

You’ll be right in the middle of the action, helping the team make smart, commercially focused decisions across sales, stock and availability.

You’ll be:

• Updating WSSIs, reviewing sales and stock and helping identify commercial opportunities.
• Supporting in-season analysis, reforecasting and taking action to maximise sales and minimise risk.
• Helping with budget, option count and depth of buy planning.
• Working closely with Buying on range construction and product decisions.
• Managing line detail and keeping a close eye on availability.
• Producing analysis around product performance, line life, store performance and densities.
• Pulling together historical data to support strategy and planning.
• Getting stuck into weekly trade packs, adding commentary and confidently sharing your findings with the wider team.
• Reviewing line prints and flagging those best and worst performers so action can be taken quickly.
• Working with the branch merchandising team to optimise A&R parameters.
• Building a really strong understanding of how products perform across different channels - and, more importantly, what we can do to improve that performance.
• Supporting the Merchandising Administration Assistant and helping them develop along the way.

What are we looking for?

You’ll already be working in a retail merchandising environment, either as an Assistant Merchandiser or an experienced Merchandising Administrator who is ready for more responsibility.
