HATIL Complex Limited is looking for a strategic and proactive Tax Manager to lead our tax function. This important role is accountable for protecting the company's tax health and ensuring 100% compliance with NBR regulations. It drives tax efficiency by acting as a trusted advisor to optimize the tax position and maintain critical relationships with auditors and tax authorities.

Key Responsibilities & Impact
  • Strategic Tax Planning & Compliance: Develop and implement strong tax strategies that will optimize the company's effective tax rate and ensure fiscal efficiency in the long run.
  • Ensure compliance: Ensure that all the company's tax returns, including Value Added Tax, Income Tax, and Withholding Tax, are filed on time and accurately.
  • Audit & Authority Management: Be the single point of contact in dealing with all tax authorities. Professionally manage audits, assessments, and inquiries to achieve optimum outcomes. Liaise with external auditors to facilitate smooth financial and tax audits.
  • Risk Management & Control: Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate tax risks by means of rigorous analysis, coupled with the implementation of strong internal controls. Full compliance with transfer pricing laws through proper documentation and suitable policies.
  • Leadership & Reporting: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of junior tax professionals, creating a culture of excellence and continuous learning. Prepare and present to senior management clear, concise tax reports and forecasts that will enable data-driven decisions.
  • Process Improvement: Champion the development and implementation of best-practice tax policies, procedures, and systems to enhance accuracy and operational efficiency.
