The Role

We’re looking for a hands‑on Assistant Manager, People Operations (Regional) to lead People Operations and Payroll across multiple ASEAN countries. You’ll ensure smooth HR operations, accurate and compliant payroll, and an exceptional employee experience across the entire lifecycle. This is a high‑impact, cross‑country role that partners closely with Finance, People Partners and local teams.

What You’ll Do
  • Lead end‑to‑end payroll for multiple ASEAN markets — ensuring accuracy, compliance and timely delivery.
  • Oversee People Operations across the region, from onboarding to offboarding, including HRIS, benefits and immigration support.
  • Partner with stakeholders to implement standardized processes, policies and regional HR initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws, statutory reporting and internal audit requirements.
  • Drive process improvements, strengthen governance, and enhance the employee experience.
  • Mentor and guide junior team members on operational and payroll matters.
What We’re Looking For
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
  • 5–8 years of HR/People Operations experience with regional payroll exposure across ASEAN.
  • Proven ability to manage payroll operations and HR processes for multiple countries.
  • Strong understanding of HR policies, payroll compliance, and statutory requirements across the region.
  • Detail‑oriented, tech‑savvy, and highly organized with a proactive, solutions‑focused mindset.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with a collaborative approach.
  • Thrives in fast‑paced, dynamic environments and enjoys taking ownership of cross‑country initiatives.
