Job summary

Compass Group UK&I is recruiting an experienced Assistant Manager to oversee all catering and service operations for a major High Street brand, on a full-time basis at 40 hours per week. You will ensure kitchens and service counters run smoothly and contribute to delivering outstanding food experiences.

You will lead from the front, train teams, manage inventories and budgets, and maintain a positive brand image while representing Compass Group UK&I and the partner brand.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar role in catering or hospitality.
• Proven ability to manage teams and lead front-line staff.
• Strong communication and organisational skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Liaise between the team and manager to exceed expectations.
• Motivate the team to stay on task and deliver great service.
• Assist with inventories, budgets and action plans.
• Manage tills and process payments efficiently.
• Train and develop teams, leading from the front.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Liaising between the team and manager to ensure we continually exceed expectations
• Motivating the team to keep everyone on task
• Assisting the manager with managing inventories, monitoring budgets and implementing action plans
• Managing the tills and processing payments
• Supporting and training our teams, leading from the front to make sure everyone can excel in their role
• Assisting with paperwork when required
• Representing Compass Group UK&I and maintaining a positive brand image
