Job summary

Heard. in London is seeking an Assistant Manager to bolster our floor leadership team.

You will work closely with the AGM and GM on the restaurant’s financial backbone, ownership of weekly stock counts, inventory controls, and cost-saving initiatives while maintaining exceptional hospitality and service standards. You will lead on scheduling, training, and developing Supervisors and Team Members, ensuring a warm, speedy service and consistent product knowledge across shifts.

Qualifications

• Experience as Assistant Manager or Duty Manager in a fast-paced, high-standard environment.
• Strong leadership, organised, calm under pressure.
• Passion for top-tier food and guest-centric hospitality.

Responsibilities

• Oversee weekly stock counts, inventory controls, and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Craft efficient rotas and manage holiday planning.
• Lead on floor during busy services, setting warmth, speed and product knowledge.
• Train and onboard Supervisors and Team Members.
• Aim for 90%+ guest feedback reflecting excellent product execution and hospitality.
• Maintain site compliance with EHO, licensing, health & safety, and audits.
