Description

At Royal Lancaster London Hotel, the position available is Assistant Manager Front Office. The role emphasizes strong interpersonal and organizational skills in an office-based setting, with front office coverage and day-to-day administrative support.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure guest satisfaction and manage the front office team.
  • Demonstrate a high level of customer service at all times.
  • Coordinate with other departments for room readiness and handle guest complaints and queries.
  • Train and develop front office staff to deliver the highest standards of service.
  • Manage room reservations and maximize room occupancy.
  • Use up-selling techniques to promote hotel services and facilities.
  • Maintain knowledge of hotel room categories, rates, packages, promotions, and other general product knowledge.
  • Provide leadership to maintain a productive and motivated team.
Qualifications, Experience and Requirements
  • Experience in communication and good conduct; at least 1 year of experience.
  • Preferred language of resume/application: English.
  • Ability to work under pressure and independently or in a team.
  • Extensive knowledge of hotel policies and procedures.
  • Salary: 4,500 GBP and above per month, depending on experience.
  • Travel requirement: Yes (ability to travel to the United Kingdom as needed).
Benefits and Employment Details
  • Health Insurance and Pension Plan in accordance with market practice in the United Kingdom.
  • Paid vacation of up to 30 days per year (pro rata if less than 12 months), plus bank holidays, with eligibility to accrue paid time off per company policy.
  • Discretionary bonus up to 45% of base eligible earnings based on performance.
  • Full-time position with rotation as applicable.
