Our client is seeking an Assistant Manager in their Funds & Institutional department. This pivotal role involves assisting in the management of a Client Administration Team, ensuring the highest standards of administration for a diverse client portfolio. The successful candidate will take ownership of a high-value client portfolio, ensuring smooth administration and delivering exceptional client satisfaction. Additionally, they will support senior leadership in reaching key performance targets such as revenue growth and cash flow efficiency. Providing technical guidance to the team and driving operational excellence through smart process improvements are key components of this role. The Assistant Manager will build lasting relationships with clients and intermediaries, opening doors to new business opportunities. Furthermore, they will actively engage in regulatory awareness, risk management, and cross-functional initiatives to help shape a future-ready business.

Job Duties:
  • Take ownership of a high-value client portfolio, ensuring smooth administration and delivering exceptional client satisfaction.
  • Support senior leadership in achieving key performance targets, such as revenue growth, billable hours, and cash flow efficiency.
  • Provide technical guidance to the team and help drive operational excellence through smart process improvements.
  • Build lasting relationships with clients and intermediaries, opening doors to fresh business opportunities and expanding influence.
  • Actively engage in regulatory awareness, risk management, and cross-functional initiatives.
Job Requirements:
  • Hold a relevant professional qualification, such as the ICSA or STEP Diploma, providing a solid foundation in fiduciary and fund administration.
  • Bring over 5 years of hands-on experience in the fund services industry, with deep knowledge of laws, duties, and best practices.
  • Be proficient in key IT systems and possess sharp analytical abilities that drive sound decision-making and reporting.
  • Be a detail-oriented communicator who builds strong relationships and thrives in team settings, particularly while managing tight deadlines.
  • Understand cross-jurisdictional tax impacts and apply a risk-aware, commercially savvy mindset to support client and business goals.
