Job summary

Cazaro Lounge in England is seeking a full-time Assistant Manager to support the General Manager, look after your team, and ensure every customer leaves happy. If you love hospitality, care about people, and take pride in doing the small things brilliantly, you’ll fit right in.

Qualifications

• People-person with floor-leadership experience.
• Confident running a shift end-to-end, including briefs, cash handling, and customer complaints.
• Natural host creating warm, welcoming atmosphere for guests.
• Community-minded; know regulars and local area.

Responsibilities

• Lead shifts (opens/closes/weekends) with pre-shift briefings and delegation to your team.
• Coach your team through feedback to create a place people genuinely want to work.
• Understand rotas, stock, labour, KPIs and support the General Manager when things aren’t where they should be.
• Handle escalated customer complaints with confidence and maintain allergen and food safety standards.
• Support recruitment of new starters and help them feel set up to succeed from day one.
• Be a visible, welcoming host on the floor and help build the Lounge’s reputation as the go-to spot in the local community.
