We deliver tangible results for global businesses, their investors, and stakeholders when complex problems arise, and critical decisions need to be made. Interpath is agile, independent, and conflict-free, and our passion for doing what’s right, every time, sets us apart.

Our diverse teams provide specialist technical knowledge combined with deep sector experience across our service line specialisms. Since our foundation in 2021, Interpath has grown rapidly, and we now have a presence across the UK, Ireland, France, Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Spain, South Africa, Algeria, India, BVI, Cayman Islands, Bermuda, Barbados, Hong Kong and Singapore. By 2030 we aim to be one of the world’s leading advisory firms with a truly global footprint.

Debt Advisory Group – Who are we?

Our Debt and Capital Advisory team provides independent advice and strategic insight to clients throughout their lifecycle. We advise on the design, sourcing and execution of funding solutions that support growth, acquisitions, refinancing, regulatory capital requirements and balance sheet optimisation.

Independent of lenders, products and markets, we provide objective advice on the optimum capital structure for our clients.

What do we do?

Our team has a market-leading focus on the Financial Services sector, advising banks, specialist lenders, fintechs, leasing businesses, mortgage lenders and other non-bank financial institutions on funding strategies that support growth, optimise capital structures and diversify funding sources.

We advise clients throughout the financing lifecycle, from strategic funding reviews through to execution. Our work includes developing funding strategies, preparing marketing materials, engaging with lenders and investors, negotiating terms and supporting transactions through to financial close.

We advise across a broad range of debt products, including:

  • Bank debt
  • Asset-Based Lending (ABL)
  • Unitranche and private credit
  • Private placements
  • Subordinated debt
  • Warehouse facilities
  • Forward flow arrangements
  • Receivables financing
  • Securitisation and structured finance
  • Capital markets solutions

As our Debt Advisory practice continues to grow, successful candidates will have the opportunity to work on a broad range of financing transactions, with a focus on Financial Services, structured finance and securitisation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the execution and project management of debt advisory and capital raising transactions.
  • Assist in structuring financing solutions across corporate debt, structured finance and securitisation.
  • Analyse funding structures, collateral pools and portfolio performance for Financial Services clients.
  • Prepare high-quality client deliverables, including board papers, information memoranda, investor presentations and financing materials.
  • Build and review financial models to support transaction analysis and execution.
  • Coordinate due diligence and manage day-to-day interactions with clients, lenders, investors and advisers.
  • Support business development through market research, pitch materials and thought leadership.
  • Mentor junior team members and contribute to the continued growth of the team.
  • Approximately 2–3 years' experience in Debt Advisory or a related field, such as Leveraged Finance, Structured Finance, Securitisation or Capital Markets. Experience working on Financial Services transactions would be highly advantageous.
  • Good understanding of corporate finance, financial statements and debt products, with excellent analytical and financial modelling skills.
  • Ability to prepare high-quality client deliverables and communicate complex analysis clearly to clients, lenders and investors.
  • Commercial awareness, with an interest in debt markets, capital structures and the Financial Services sector.
  • Effective stakeholder management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver to deadlines.
  • A proactive, collaborative mindset and a desire to develop within a growing Debt Advisory practice.
