AJ Chambers is seeking an Assistant Manager to lead and develop a small team in a Central London practice. You will oversee a portfolio of clients, supervise junior staff, and contribute to workflow and billing processes.

The role covers accounts, corporation tax, and personal tax returns, with opportunity to advance into management. Familiarity with CCH and Xero is advantageous, and PQ experience is valued.

Qualifikationen

• ACA or ACCA qualified with strong experience as Accounts Senior / Assistant Manager.
• 1–2 years post-qualification experience is ideal.
• Experience using CCH and Xero would be beneficial.

Assistant Manager – Accounts & Personal Tax | Independent Firm | Central London

The Role:

• Mentoring and supervising junior staff, identifying training needs, assisting in managing the team
• Assisting Manager with portfolio of clients and becoming involved in workflow management of the team
• Involvement in work-in-progress and the overall billing process
• Review of client financial statements (FRS 105, 102, 102 1A) and corporation tax returns
• Preparation and review of personal tax returns
• Responsibility for a portfolio of VAT returns

The Ideal Candidate

• ACA or ACCA qualified with strong experience as Accounts Senior / Assistant Manager
• Ideally, 1-2 years’ post qualification experience
• Experience using CCH and Xero would be beneficial
• Good team player, able to interact with all levels of an organisation
