Job summary

Screwfix Direct Ltd. is seeking an Assistant Manager to support the Retail Branch Manager in delivering outstanding service, managing daily store operations, and driving sales performance. You will oversee front of house and warehouse, lead by example, and ensure a smooth, profitable store environment.

Ideal candidates are experienced in retail management, customer-focused, target-driven, and eager to develop their career through our training programmes and varied shift patterns.

Responsibilities

• Store standards: support Branch Manager to run front of house and warehouse smoothly.

• Handle store budgets, rotas, payroll, P&L analysis, stock management, and profitability.

Responsibilities

WHAT’S IT LIKE TO BE AN ASSISTANT MANAGER AT SCREWFIX?

• Store standards – alongside the retail Branch Manager, you’ll make sure everything runs smoothly, from front of house to the warehouse. Rolling up your sleeves to keep standards high
• Inspire your team – you’ll be hands on and lead by example, motivating your team to give a great customer experience
• Store management – budgets, Rota’s and Payroll, P&L analysis, managing stock and improving profits are all part of your role.
