Job summary

Loungers plc is hiring a dedicated Assistant Manager to support the team at Visto Lounge. This is a full-time role within a growing hospitality brand known for great guest experiences and career progression opportunities.

You’ll lead shifts, coach staff, manage stock and guest concerns, and help recruit new team members while upholding service standards. Expect a competitive package with bonus, overtime and plenty of on-the-job training.

Qualifications

• Experience in restaurants, bars, cafés or coffee shops as a Supervisor, Deputy or Assistant Manager.
• Ability to lead a team, manage shifts and deliver excellent customer service.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage staff and guests.

Responsibilities

• Lead a variety of shifts (opens/closes/weekends) and motivate the team.
• Coach staff through regular feedback and ensure high standards of service.
• Understand rotas, stock, labour and KPIs, supporting the General Manager.
• Handle customer complaints with sound judgement and maintain allergen standards.
• Assist recruitment and onboard new starters to set them up for success.
• Be a visible host and help build the Lounges reputation in the local community.

We're hiring a full-time Assistant Manager to support the team at Visto Lounge. Part of Loungers, proudly named Casual Dining Group of the Year 2026. What You’ll Do

• Lead a variety of shifts (opens/closes/weekends) — from pre-shift briefings and delegating to your team, always engaging and motivating the team throughout
• Coach your team through regular and honest feedback, creating a place people genuinely want to work
• Understand rotas, stock, labour, KPIs (NPS, sales, gross profit) — and know how to support your General Manager when things aren't where they should be
• Handle escalated customer complaints with confidence and good judgement, and maintain allergen and food safety standards across the team
• Support recruitment of new starters and help them feel set up to succeed from day one
• Be a visible, welcoming host on the floor and help build your Lounges reputation as the go-to spot in the local community
