Job summary

Greene King is recruiting for an Assistant Manager at Farmhouse Inns in Crewe. You’ll lead the management team and help ensure smooth running of a busy pub, while delivering great experiences for customers.

You’ll support the General Manager, coach the team, uphold brand standards, and manage safety and allergen controls. English communication and leadership are essential; Personal Licence eligibility may be required.

• Experience in hospitality management or supervisory role.
• Strong people leadership and staff development abilities.
• Excellent communication and customer service focus.

Responsibilities

What you'll do as an Assistant Manager...

• Support the General Manager in the day to day running of the business and leading the business in their absence.
• Bring our brand to life by leading the team in delivering amazing experiences for our customers.
• Act as a role model for the team and support with training and development.
• Be a champion of brand standards & ensure customer & team safety at all times.

What you'll bring...

• You'll be passionate about delivering amazing experiences for customers.
• You’ll be great with people, and as a result, have great communication and leadership skills making sure you get the best out of people.
• An ability to think on your feet and adapt to whatever challenges arise during a busy shift.
• A keen eye for every small detail and a desire to uphold high standards in all that you do.
• Sufficient spoken and written English to perform the role safely and understand allergen controls.
• As this role may involve covering the business in the General Manager’s absence, you’ll need to be eligible to hold a Personal Licence. You don’t need to have one when you apply. If you’re successful, Greene King will support you through the process of obtaining your licence.#LI-CA1
