Job summary

Smith and Western in Crawley is seeking an experienced Assistant Manager to help lead the team and grow the business. You will drive daily operations, supervise staff, manage ordering and stock, and ensure health and safety standards are met while maintaining the highest hospitality levels.

The ideal candidate has a proven track record in a branded restaurant, thrives in a high-volume environment with fresh produce, and brings a proactive, energetic management style.

We are looking for an experienced and ambitious Assistant Manager to help lead the team and grow and develop our business.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record as an Assistant Manager in a branded restaurant environment, with experience of working at high volume, with fresh produce. You will have a positive and pro-active management style and share our passion for providing the highest quality customer service. You will also have bundles of energy alongside a winning smile and common sense in abundance!

As the go-to person for all aspects and issues of running this busy restaurant, you will enjoy a varied and hands on role, working closely with the Head Chef and Directors to ensure all issues are dealt with promptly and help to develop standards and drive the business forward whilst ensuring all customers leave with a smile on their face having had an amazing experience

Salary up to £38,000 depending on experience
