About Us
SmartBase is a state-of-the-art Business Centre based on Aviation Park West at Bournemouth Airport, providing modern, flexible workspace solutions for a diverse range of resident businesses. Since opening in June 2022, we’ve successfully filled our private offices and expanded our offering to include a large coworking lounge, multiple meeting rooms, and a versatile event space.
We\'re looking for an Assistant Manager who will play a vital and dynamic role in the smooth daily operation of our serviced office centre. Acting as the face of the business, you will be the first point of contact for clients, visitors, and coworkers, ensuring every guest receives a warm, professional welcome and that the centre always operates to the highest standard.
You’ll be responsible for keeping the building running efficiently day-to-day, from setting up meeting rooms and managing supplies to handling enquiries, coordinating deliveries, and supporting events. No two days are ever the same; one moment you may be giving a tour to a prospective client, and the next you could be preparing refreshments for a meeting or updating our social media channels.
This is a very hands-on role that requires someone who enjoys being actively involved in the day-to-day running of the building. Equally important is your ability to build strong relationships with clients and coworkers. You’ll get to know the businesses operating within the centre and be able to provide a level of personal service that makes them feel valued and supported.
You\'ll work closely with the Centre Manager and wider team to deliver an exceptional service. The role combines front-of-house duties, facilities coordination, administrative support, and marketing assistance. Marketing/ Social Media experience is preferred but not essential - training will be provided.
