Job summary

Mitchells & Butlers PLC in Burntwood (Ember Inns) is seeking an Assistant Manager to help lead daily operations, support the General Manager, and drive guest satisfaction.

You will mentor staff, manage shifts, and contribute to a welcoming pub atmosphere, promoting teamwork and excellence in service.

Qualifications

• Experience in managing a team and supporting the General Manager.
• Proven ability to deliver guest experiences and mentor staff.
• Willingness to lead, train, and motivate teams in a pub environment.

Responsibilities

• Support the General Manager in day-to-day running of the business.
• Train and inspire the team to deliver food, drink and service to a high standard.
• Be a role model and guide development within the team.
• Lead the team to deliver moments that wow guests and ensure repeat visits.
