We’re looking for a brilliant Assistant Manager to help lead one of our Boston Tea Party cafés.

This is much more than being the person who steps in when the GM isn’t there.

You’ll be a key leader in the café — running great shifts, developing people, creating brilliant guest experiences and learning what it takes to run a successful Boston.

For the right person, it’s also a brilliant stepping stone towards running a café of your own.

What you’ll be doing

You’ll work closely with your General Manager and help take ownership of your team, your guests and your café.

That means you’ll:

• Lead brilliant shifts and set the energy for the team.

• Be right there on the floor when it’s busy — serving guests, solving problems and keeping everything moving.

• Coach and develop the people around you.

• Help recruit and welcome brilliant new Good Eggs into the team.

• Deliver consistently great standards across food, coffee and hospitality.

• Get to know your regulars and help make your Boston part of its local community.

• Understand the numbers behind the café, from sales and labour to waste and productivity.

• Take ownership of opening, closing and the day-to-day running of the café.

• Support your GM while building the skills and confidence to become a future GM yourself.

Who we’re looking for

You might already be an Assistant Manager or Supervisor, or perhaps you’re a brilliant hospitality team leader who’s ready for more responsibility.

You don’t need to know everything on day one.

We’re looking for potential, personality and the desire to grow.
