Job summary

Hollywood Bowl Group is seeking a motivated Assistant Manager in the Basildon area to lead a busy centre and develop a high-performing team. You’ll be trained across lanes, bar and diner, supporting the General Manager to achieve centre goals.

Expect a thorough induction, coaching, and opportunities to advance through our Manager in Training programme. A customer-first mindset and willingness to work flexible hours are essential.

Qualifications

• Management experience in leisure, hospitality or retail.
• Strong customer service focus and guest experience.
• Proven ability to lead and develop large teams.
• Willing to work nights and weekends as required.
• Ambition for career growth within the company.

Responsibilities

• Coach and mentor the team to deliver exceptional service.
• Run front-of-house operations and support General Manager back-of-house.
• Ensure high standards of safety, service and centre presentation.
• Drive customer satisfaction and centre performance.

Within our fast-paced, dynamic world, you will be at the very centre of the Hollywood Bowl experience, to support the effective operation of the business, injecting fun and positivity into the team and enhancing the customer journey.

The role is varied and exciting; your responsibilities will range from coaching and mentoring the team, and running an exceptional operation, front-of-house, to supporting the General Manager back-of-house in delivering on centre goals and financial targets.

You will be responsible for guaranteeing that your centre has the best standards and service in the industry to ensure the centre is a safe and fun environment for our customers.
