Job summary

Meraki Talent is supporting a Glasgow based client with an Assistant Management Accountant role. The position offers £35,000 - £37,000 with hybrid working and a strong benefits package, and clear opportunities for internal development.

You will join a supportive finance team in a fast-paced environment, responsible for month-end close, balance sheet reconciliations and analysis, while providing financial insight to stakeholders across the business.

Qualifications

• Experience in an Assistant Management Accountant or similar finance role.
• Hands-on experience with monthly close and variance analysis.
• Proficient in preparing accruals, prepayments and journals.
• Strong attention to detail and organisation.
• Able to work both independently and within a finance team.

Responsibilities

• Support the monthly close process and meet deadlines.
• Prepare accruals, prepayments and month-end journals.
• Complete balance sheet reconciliations and investigate variances.
• Assist with P&L reviews and provide commentary.
• Support the production of monthly management accounts.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across the business to provide financial support.
