Job summary

Resourcery Group Limited is seeking an Assistant Management Accountant to join a large, fast-paced finance team in Warrington. The role offers study support towards CIMA or ACCA, a hybrid working arrangement and clear progression within a £32,000-£35,000 salary band.

You will be involved in month-end close, intercompany journals, VAT returns, and financial governance, gaining exposure to a broad finance function in a multinational environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in an accounts or finance role.
• Strong Excel skills including Pivot Tables, XLOOKUPs and SUMIFS.
• Excellent attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
• A proactive approach with a willingness to learn.
• The ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative attitude.

Responsibilities

• Supporting the month-end close and general ledger activities.
• Processing payroll journals and associated cost postings.
• Preparing intercompany recharges and commercial journals.
• Managing internal hire postings and project finance queries.
• Bank reconciliations, cash reporting and cashflow support.
• Assisting with monthly and quarterly VAT returns.
• Balance sheet and intercompany reconciliations.
• Producing control account reporting across AR and AP.
• Supporting audit requirements and financial governance.
• Assisting with business integrations and group reporting.
• Identifying opportunities to improve finance processes and systems.

Assistant Management Accountant | Warrington | £32,000-35,000 + study support | Permanent, hybrid working

We\'re recruiting an Assistant Management Accountant to join a large, fast-paced finance team supporting a business with over £1bn in turnover. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with finance experience who\'s looking to take the next step in their career, working closely with an experienced Financial Controller in a role that offers genuine variety and long-term progression.

This is far more than a transactional accounts position. You\'ll be involved in a wide range of accounting responsibilities, gaining valuable month-end exposure while supporting the wider finance function.

Key responsibilities include:

• Supporting the month-end close and general ledger activities
• Processing payroll journals and associated cost postings
