A third-sector organisation in Wales is seeking an experienced Assistant Management Accountant for a hybrid role. This position focuses on maintaining a fixed asset register and providing tailored financial reporting. Reporting into the Management Accountant, this is a great opportunity for an experienced individual who can hit the ground running and make an immediate impact. While initially a temporary role, the organisation is also recruiting permanently, giving the successful candidate the opportunity to apply if they wish to stay long term.
This position will have a strong fixed asset focus, supporting a £95 million capital repairs programme and a portfolio of 150 units.
As Assistant Management Accountant, you ll play an integral role within the finance team, working closely with key stakeholders and providing business partnering support to deliver customer‑focused, tailored financial reporting that aids budget management and decision‑making.
You ll also support the Management Accountant in driving a culture of continuous improvement, ensuring robust financial control and insightful analysis across the organisation.
