Overview

KCR Solutions are delighted to be recruiting an Assistant Management Accountant for an excellent company based in Newcastle. Reporting into the Senior Management Accountant you will be an integral part of the finance team responsible for producing management information for month-end, quarter end and year end reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management accounts for assigned sites, taking full ownership of the month-end process
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts and ensure accuracy across financial statements
• Calculate and post accruals and prepayments, investigating anomalies and correcting discrepancies
• Build strong working relationships with Site Managers and Unit Controllers to understand site performance and provide financial insight
• Offer support and advice to other locations as required
• Provide information to support financial planning, budgeting and forecasting
• Ensure accounting practises are carried out in accordance with current standards
• Assist on special projects as required, as part of the Finance team and the wider business
