  • Reconcile balance sheet accounts and support the production of management accounts.
  • Assist with forecasting, budgeting, and reporting activities.
  • Ensure deadlines are met and reports are accurate and timely.
  • Support ongoing projects and ad‑hoc financial analysis as required.
  • Working closely with the Finance Manager
Requirements:
  • 2–3 years’ experience in a finance or accounting role, ideally within a commercial or manufacturing environment.
  • Strong bookkeeping and accounting skills with experience in accruals, fixed assets, and balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Working towards or holding at least ACCA or CIMA Primary Level, with studies ongoing.
  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach to work.
  • Inquisitive and proactive, with the ability to identify issues and recommend solutions.
  • Comfortable working to deadlines and under pressure, managing multiple priorities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (experience with ERP systems advantageous).
What’s on Offer
  • Competitive salary of up to £35,000 (depending on experience).
  • Exposure to a broad range of accounting functions within a supportive team.
  • Opportunities for professional development and continued study support.
  • A professional and collaborative working environment in Loughborough.
