We are recruiting an experienced Assistant Management Accountant for a market-leading, forward-thinking business in Sheffield.

Duties will include, but not be limited to:

  • Cashflow forecasting, variance analysis and providing commentary.
  • Assisting in process improvements and financial controls.
  • Assisting with the preparation of monthly management accounts.
  • Accruals and prepayments.
  • Balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Profit and loss.
  • VAT returns.
  • Other ad hoc duties as required.

The person:

  • The successful candidate will be part-qualified (ACCA/CIMA) with at least 1–2 years of relevant experience.
  • Strong Excel skills and familiarity with accounting software are required.
  • Excellent attention to detail and an analytical mindset are required.
  • You will be proactive, eager to learn, and able to work independently.
  • Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude are essential.
