Job description
Responsibilities
  • Prepare and post month end journals including accruals / prepayments / intercompany.
  • Maintain the Fixed Assets Register and process monthly depreciation runs.
  • Help review the monthly management accounts of all group companies.
  • Monthly balance sheet reconciliations including intercompany balances.
  • Preparation of commission statements and customer rebates.
  • Ownership of the company's expense card reconciliation.
  • Support the Finance Manager in the delivery of all monthly and weekly reporting. Ensure consistency and compliance with reporting requirements.
  • Handle internal queries and provide financial support for staff on site.
  • Be the designated cover for the Accounts Payable and Treasury functions.
Qualifications
  • Part Qualified CIMA/ACCA
  • Advanced Excel skills, with the ability to handle and manipulate large amounts of data
  • Attention to detail, with emphasis on validity and accuracy of transactions
  • Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
  • A strong desire to solve problems
  • Technically up to date with a good understanding of UK reporting standards
  • Good systems experience, ideally XERO and SAP
