GXO Logistics in Chippenham is seeking an Assistant Accountant to join a small team and deliver accurate monthly management accounts with detailed variance analysis. The role supports budgeting, forecasting, and reporting to enable informed decision-making.
The successful candidate will handle balance sheet reconciliations, contribute to process improvements, and collaborate with Finance Business Partners. Hybrid, 37.5 hours per week, salary up to £35,000.

Join us as our Assistant Accountant, where you’ll be joining a team of 3 based in our offices in Chippenham. You’ll produce accurate and timely Support Function Management Accountants, including detailed variance analysis to support Finance Business Partner review and decision-making. You’ll support in the budget and forecasting process, providing insightful analysis of key overhead expenditure, and identify opportunities to enhance processes and improve financial reporting.
This is a full time, permanent opportunity with 37.5 hours contracted per week. Working Monday to Friday between 08:00 am to 17:00 pm (hybrid, predominately office based).
We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £35,000 per annum, and 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays).
