As an Assistant Management Accountant in Burton-On-Trent within the Manufacturing industry, you'll play a key role in supporting the accounting and finance team. This permanent opportunity offers a hybrid working model and includes study support towards CIMA/ACCA.

Qualifications

• Experience in accounting and finance within a similar role.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Able to commute to the client’s Burton-on-Trent office.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• A relevant accounting qualification or working towards one.
• Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and reports.
• Assist in the preparation of management accounts and budgets.
• Analyse financial data to support decision-making processes.
• Reconcile accounts and ensure compliance with financial regulations.
• Support month-end and year-end close processes.
• Collaborate with other departments to gather financial information.
• Assist with audits and provide necessary documentation.
