The Role

Our client, a highly respected chartered accountancy firm in Borehamwood, is seeking an Assistant Management Accountant to join their growing team. This varied role offers excellent progression opportunities for someone with solid bookkeeping experience and month-end accounting skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Preparing monthly/quarterly management accounts and analysis
• Managing month-end adjustments and reconciliations
• High-standard bookkeeping and VAT reporting
• Cashflow reporting and forecasting
• Supporting junior staff with training and guidance
• Progression to preparing year-end statutory accounts
  
  

What We're Looking For

Essential Requirements:

• Strong bookkeeping experience, ideally within an accountancy practice environment
• Solid month-end accounting experience including prepayments, accruals, depreciation, and income deferrals
• Experience dealing with varied client portfolios
• Excellent time management and prioritisation skills
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities
• Proactive, self-motivated approach with commercial awareness
