• Location: Remote – Circa. once per month working from the West London office in Twickenham
• Salary: £30,000 - £40,000 DOE

Your Skills

• Experience in transactional finance (AR, AP, Xero or similar). You love spreadsheets. Motivated to succeed. Proactive and gets things done. Retail, Wholesale, FMCG or Brand experience.

What You’ll Be Doing

This isn’t your average number-crunching role – reporting to the Financial Controller you’ll be at the heart of our finance team, keeping things running smoothly while helping us grow smarter and faster.

Transactional Finance

• Own day-to-day: invoices, bank reconciliations, and accruals and prepayments.
• Lead on Accounts Payable to ensure suppliers are paid on time.
• Drive Accounts Receivable to maintain cash flow.
• Oversee Invoice Factoring Facility, staff expenses, and bank reconciliations.
• Coordinate payroll with outsourced providers to ensure timely and accurate payments.

Month-End & Reporting

• Support the preparation of management accounts, journals, and reconciliations.
• Maintain the fixed asset register and handle VAT returns.
• Assist with compliance and contribute to cashflow forecasting and reporting.

Continuous Improvement

• Help shape processes with the finance team to improve systems, controls, and reports.
• Take on ad-hoc projects, from product profitability analyses to margin performance reviews.

About You

• Working towards ACCA/CIMA (or qualified by experience with a solid SME finance background).
• Proven experience in bookkeeping and month-end close – ideally within product-led, FMCG, or scale-up environments.
• Hands-on and detail-driven, with accuracy and ownership of the numbers.
• Proficient in Excel/Google Sheets, including pivot tables, lookups, and advanced formulas.
• Experienced in leading accounting platforms such as Xero, NetSuite, or similar systems.
• Curious, adaptable, and growth-minded, thriving in fast-paced, entrepreneurial settings.
• Must be able to meet in person in London on an adhoc basis (roughly once per month).
