Your new role

You will be the assistant health and safety advisor, supporting the health and safety manager to ensure a safe and compliant environment across all operations. This is an outstanding opportunity for someone that is looking to kick‑start and develop their career in health and safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the implementation and monitoring of health and safety policies, procedures, and risk assessments
  • Support the Health and Safety Manager in conducting site inspections, audits, and investigations
  • Help maintain accurate records of incidents, near misses, and safety‑related documentation
  • Coordinate and deliver basic health and safety inductions and toolbox talks
  • Assist in ensuring compliance with current health and safety legislation and best practices
  • Contribute to the development of safety awareness campaigns and training materials
  • Liaise with internal departments and external contractors to promote a culture of safety
  • Provide administrative support including report writing, data entry, and document control

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
