Assistant Headteacher - Brand New SEMH School

£45,000 - £50,000 per annum (negotiable)

Full Time, term-time only

Overview:

Compass Associates is excited to be collaborating alongside one of the UK's leading specialist care and education providers across Adults, Children, Education and Health divisions. Their services support people with a variety of complex needs such as learning disabilities, autism, mental health issues, acquired brain injuries, and physical challenges.

Together, we are looking for an Assistant Headteacher to join their brand new Specialist SEMH School near Warrington, Cheshire. This is a fantastic opportunity to lead on teaching, learning, and safeguarding, supporting students aged 5-13 with social, emotional and mental health needs.

Work Pattern:

Full time, term-time only, Monday - Friday.

Location:

This brand new school will be based near Warrington, Cheshire, and is commutable from Chester, Winsford, Wrexham, Birkenhead and other surrounding towns.

Criteria:

• Hold a QTS or QTLS.
• Minimum of two years' experience working within a SEMH or specialist provision.
• Bringing a deep understanding of the OFSTED framework and independent school standards.
• Passionate about improving outcomes for young people with SEMH.
• Proven experience leading teams, managing behaviour effectively, and driving high-quality teaching.
• Demonstrates strong safeguarding knowledge and experience.

Salary and Benefits:

This Assistant Headteacher role is paying £45,000 - £50,000 per annum depending on experiences and includes an impressive benefit package:
