An educational institution in Bury is seeking an Assistant Headteacher to lead a team in supporting students with complex emotional needs. The ideal candidate will have a Qualified Teacher Status and experience in educational leadership, fostering a positive learning environment. As Assistant Headteacher you will take the lead in enabling the team at Chesham House School to meet our young peoples’ emotional needs. Our young people have challenging complex emotional and behavioural needs (Social, Emotional and Mental Health) and need more support than most. You will make sure they get it by applying high standards of care. It means working with families and developing pastoral support programs for each individual young person. With careful assessment and planning, you will create a positive learning environment where every young person can reach their personal best.
Chesham House School is an independent specialist provision which provides high quality, personalised education for young people aged 10 to 18 with social, emotional and mental health difficulties and who are at significant risk.
