Overview

Assistant Headteacher – Teaching & Learning

Required Summer term 2026 (would possibly consider Sept 26 for ideal candidate). Leadership Scale L7 – L10 (inclusive of London Weighting).

The Governors wish to appoint an aspirational and dedicated Assistant Headteacher with a proven track record of working in a primary setting to join our senior leadership team. The successful candidate will have responsibility for leading all aspects of Teaching and Learning across the school. The position is non-class based but with a teaching commitment of sets in Year 6.

Applicants should have demonstrable experience in improving the quality of provision in the area they have led in either a middle or senior leadership role along with a desire and determination to improve the educational experience of the students in Greenwood Primary School.
