ASSISTANT HEAD OF DEPARTMENT & TEACHER OF BIOLOGY - Full time, Permanent Salary £32,178 to £49,725 FTE + £2,261 RA3 allowance
(Experience in A Level, Vocational Level 3, or BTEC (level 3) Applied Human Biology - all Biology teaching backgrounds welcomed)

Salaries are competitive, based on the Sixth Form College teachers’ pay scale (NSP 1 £32,178 to NSP 9 £49,725 FTE per annum), plus a responsibility allowance of £2,261 per annum. These pay scales are reviewed annually by the National Joint Council (NJC) and are subject to a nationally agreed pay award, which, once agreed, will be backdated to 1 September 2025.
