Job summary

PureGym Ltd. is seeking an Assistant Gym Manager to work at our club alongside the Gym Manager, delivering excellent member experiences and upholding high standards. This 32-hour-per-week position */includes a salary of £22,017/* with a comprehensive benefits package.

You will recruit and develop a team of fitness professionals, lead group exercise programs, and drive member growth through events and community outreach. A strong focus on leadership and staff development is essential.

Qualifications

• L2 qualification in gym instructing.
• Experience teaching group exercise.
• Leadership or people-management experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Deliver an excellent member experience in the club through service and standards, alongside the Gym Manager.
• Support the Gym Manager to recruit and develop staff through outreach and events.
• Lead a team of Personal Trainers and Gym Instructors, fostering a positive work environment.
• Provide ongoing training and professional development for fitness staff.
• Manage and improve group exercise offerings within the gym.
