Job summary

PureGym is seeking an Assistant Gym Manager in the UK to oversee member experience, team development and delivery of high-quality service. You will assist the Gym Manager, recruit and coach a team of Personal Trainers and instructors, and drive growth through outreach and events.

The role requires a Level 2 Gym Instructor qualification and experience teaching group exercise, with a passion for fitness and wellbeing.

Qualifications

• L2 qualification in gym instructing.
• Experience teaching group exercise.

• Ability to lead and develop a team.

Responsibilities

• Deliver an excellent member experience in the club through a constant focus on service and standards, alongside the Gym Manager.
• Support the Gym Manager to bring in new joiners through club outreach and community events.
• Recruit, train and supervise a team of Personal Trainers, Fitness Coaches and Gym Instructors.
• Provide ongoing training and development for fitness staff to enhance their skills.
• Manage and improve Group Exercise (GEX) offerings within the gym.
